Everyone’s Animal

Everyone’s Animal was co-created by preschool children at the at Connie Benn Early Learning Centre. These children had just emerged from two years of Melbourne’s covid lockdowns, into an unfamiliar world of group play, socialisation and communication. This book was created across six bookmaking workshops facilitated by Kids’ Own Publishing artists. It celebrates how expressive our bodies can be and allowed the children to use body language and gestures as their main form of meaning-making as they created the book.
