This book was created in workshops accompanying an exhibition of books by children for children.
The Kids’ Own Book Cubby is a touring exhibition supported by the Australia Council for the Arts. The books created on this tour are added to the exhibition, which includes books from different projects in Australia, Ireland and England, ranging from well-known trade books to mini books created out of a single sheet of paper and photocopied. Some books are collaborations between adults and children, but ALL consist largely of the children’s words and pictures.
