Sailing, Sailing
Sailing, Sailing was written and illustrated by the children and families of the PlayConnect+ playgroup based out of the Dallas Brooks Community Primary School hub. Inspired by a song the children sing each week (‘Sailing’ by Parent-Child Mother Goose), this book creates a playful adventure out of a calming lullaby.
The book-making workshops were facilitated by artists Viet-My Bui and Sadia Dubow. Brightly illustrated with water art, collage, line drawing and clay, Sailing, Sailing is a beautiful record of play.
