Thanks for being my penpal

Thanks for being my penpal was collaboratively written and illustrated by the students of Paynesville Primary School and Eagle Point Primary School. With text drawn from letters written to one another, it discusses the people, places and activities that make up the texture of their local community and daily lives – going to school, jumping off the jetty, playing board games with family, riding to the beach with friends, meeting new people at dance class. Each page is illustrated by a beautiful, personality-filled collage tableau.

The book-making workshops were facilitated by Kathy Holowko.
