This book was created by the Koorie boys of Mooroopna Secondary College over a series of workshops in 2015. They danced with choreographer Jacob Boheme, worked on illustrations and ceramics with artists Lyndon Sendeckyi and Hart Ely-Faulks and developed the text with support of author Ailsa Wild.
The Ibis was launched at Blak and Bright, the inaugural Victorian Indigenous Literary Festival. This launch was supported by Australian Communities Foundation, including B B & A Miller Fund, Beecher Family Charitable Fund, Johnstone Gumption Fund and Scarlet’s Fund.
